I have a Krispy Dreaming
Our sole purpose this past Saturday was to experience a Krispy Dream- straight from the source. I don't think I've ever had a dessert that tasted quite so good. It was dreamy alright. Krispy Kreme is spreading across Massachusetts like frosting on toaster studel. Toaster strudels are pretty good too, but nothing compares to that donut.
We walked around the Prudential mall for a little bit and then we went to go check out the donut factory. It was magical. There were donuts being made this time. They traveled up and down miniature escalators, then waded across a siena pool of boiling oil. After their swim they rested on little moving platforms until it was their turn to be bathed in a white, whispy waterfall of glaze. Then they happilly went on to dry and were promptly picked up and packaged for eager and hungry donut eaters, like myself.
I've never had a new donut quite like that one. The only other experience I have similiar to the Krispy Dream was the first time I tried goat cheese....
It was a hot sweltering day in Madrid and a francofile named somthing-or-other offered me some of her cheese that she was spreading on some toasted baguette. The moment the cheese touched my tongue, I just about melted. That was the beginning of my goat cheese addiction. This francofile girl kept a platter of 4 different types of goat cheese in the refriderator and I just coulnd't stop eating it! I normaly don't eat other people's food without asking, but that's an addiction for you.
Cheese addictions are the best kind. Yum.

I totally feel your Krispy Kreme experience.
My first time was in Tampa, FL. I had heard all about them but they weren't in the northeast yet so I was stuck. We passed by one and the next day we went in to get some.
I knew they were supposed to be good but I was expecting a regular donut.
Not at all.. this thing was amazing. I'm so happy that they're all over the place here in Ohio.
As for cheese. I am also a fan of cheese but not like you or Brent. I enjoy the occasional cheese but don't want to eat it everyday. And I only know like 10 different kinds of cheese.. 'm not a fanatic. But I do want to try goat cheese. you have mentioned it to me before. I'll eventually get around to it.
